The group that would consist of Frontman Jake Berglove (guitar, vocals), Henry Patterson (guitar, vocals), Des Lawrence (bass) and Wyatt Fuller (drums) started making a name for themselves around 2017.
Throughout their college careers, the group expanded on their sound as the demand for Early Eyes tickets rose. In October of 2018, the group released their first EP entitled All Shades of Teal. The graduates of the class of 2020 almost immediately found a deal with Epitaph Records after exiting college. Fans were drawn to the group from all over due to their charming songs with strong melodies and addictive grooves. With their popularity surging since the release of their single “Coffee” Early Eyes geared up for their first album as they added members like Joe Villano (guitar). Their debut full-length album Look Alive! features songs like “Paresthesia” and “Chemical” and was released in early 2022.
