American DJ Armand Van Helden and Canadian DJ A-Trak joined forces to become a dance club tour sensation. Their first track aNYway pays homage to their New York City beginnings. They are best known for their 2010 hit Barbara Streisand, named after the famous performer. Their track was featured on the hit TV show Glee. Barbara Streisand earned the duo a Grammy nomination in the US. It won the International Dance Music Award in 2011 for the Best Underground Dance Track as well as a music video award in the UK.
Representing the House and nu-disco music genres, Duck Sauce gained heavy support from fellow DJs and radio stations in the US and Europe. Record labels Fool’s Gold, Casablanca, Republic, and Ulta have all represented the duo. Other Duck Sauce hit singles include Big Bad Wolf, It’s You, NRG, Get Steppin and Captain Duck. They released their first album Quack in 2014 with Foolsgold Records. Several of their hits including Barbara Streisand, aNYway, and Big Bad Wolf were made into popular music videos.
The duo has performed at numerous large annual events including the Miami Winter Music Conference, San Francisco’s Outside Lands Music and Art Festival, and Coachella at Empire Polo Field in Indio, California.
