He would be asked to reprise the role in nine more consecutive productions, including in the late 2000s film adaptations of Madea Goes to Jail and Madea’s Big Happy Family. 

Apart from his collaborations with Tyler Perry, Mann has also appeared in the films The Ultimate Life and Soul Santa. He briefly starred in the mid-2010s sitcom Mann & Wife.
