Celebrated for his "nobility and rich tone," by the New York Times, he has a superb repertoire which has included work with Pierre Boulez, along with Steven Smith and Masaaki Suzuki to name a few. He has worked with some of the greatest ensembles around the world like the uniqueness of Cameroon. He graduated from the Oberlin College Conservatory of Music and then went on to study at Case Western Reserve University.
Voicing an important role in the performance world, he was immediately offered a place with one of Minnesota’s most prestigious ensembles - Cantus. As part of this nine-member group, he travels across America lighting up concert halls with his outstanding voice, along with teaching clinics for students of all ages to be able to share their gift of singing. He has also toured with the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra and the Boston Pops to name just two, along with James Sewell Ballet and Bobby McFerrin.

Two years later, he went on to graduate school studying musicology from Yale University's Institute for Sacred Music where Professor James Taylor taught him about vocal technique. Dashon has performed solo pieces that range from Monteverdi's Vespers Of 1610 to Jesus in Bach's St. Matthew Passion.
