With both of her parents playing in local bands and enthusiastic figures in the Kansas City blues community, Danielle grew up surrounded by music and played open mic nights and coffee houses before her brothers Nick and Kris Schnebelen talked her into taking up the bass and developing her huge, howling vocals. The siblings went on to tour the country, supporting George Thorogood and Buddy Guy and topping the blues charts with the album 'Badlands' in 2013 before Danielle went her own way and released her debut solo record 'Wolf Den' in 2015.

Recorded in New Orleans with Grammy-winning producer Anders Osborne, her sound was initially an extension of her blues-rock roots and full of driving Led Zeppelin riffs and stomping ZZ Top grooves, but she gradually evolved some Memphis soul swagger, gospel flourishes and raw, personal introspection and by 2018 she had fully matured as an artist. With multi-instrumentalist Brandon Miller and drummer Rodd Bland (son of the great R&B vocalist Bobby Bland) backing her up, she continued to rock, howl and strut on her second album 'Cry No More', whilst also addressing more emotional topics such as her father's death and experiences of motherhood in her songs.
