Hear their old-school thrash and death metal sound with Creeping Death tickets. Creeping Death formed in Denton, Texas in 2015. Founding members Trey Pemberton (guitar), Eric “Rico” Mejia (bassist), Linco Mullins (drummer), and Reese Alavi (lead vocalist), moved their main operation to Dallas-Fort Worth for better access to the local metal scene. The band released a demo and their first single “Meant to Bleed” in 2015. This was quickly followed by an EP in the 2016 Sacrament of Death that received favorable early reviews. After some roster shuffling, they released an EP and single both entitled “Specter of War” in 2019, before releasing their first full-length album Wretched Illusions. While this was not quite as popular critically as their EP’s, metal-heads seemed to like the almost retro-metal feel to it. They released another EP in 2021 The Edge of Existence.
Creeping Death is a hardcore, death metal band with an incredibly old-school vibe, as their name’s sake, a Metallica album suggests. In an interview, the band has said that they write music for themselves, as they are the ones who must hear the tracks night after night.
