Such was the reception he received, that he decided to pursue a career in music, combining his two favourite genres of country music with the harder sounds of rock & roll.
Initially, he sang under his birth name Cory Marquardt and released his first album 'This Man' in 2015. The album sold quickly, and featured highly on online streaming services. It featured singles 'Smartphone' (2015) '21' (2016) and 'This Man' (2016). In 2017, Marquardt began to work with producer Kevin Churko, and in 2019 released the single 'Outlaws and Outsiders' under the name Cory Marks, featuring artists Travis Tritt, Ivan Moody and Mick Mars.
