In the year they were formed, they released their first self-titled album. It continued to be a busy year with the release of a live album, Live from Nashville. The next full-length album wasn’t seen until 2018 with the release of That Santa Fe Channel. It was the first album under ATO Records. It’s no surprise the creation and release of the next project took a long time given the touring schedule of the band. Despite being a sort of cult favorite in the U.S., they’re known around the world for their standalone sound. With concerts in Sweden and the U.K., it’s hard to find the time to create an album. Plus, Firstman runs the annual “Tropic of Cancer Concert Series” where the band has performed as well. Despite the hiatus, the band was still able to get a spot on Rolling Stone’s “10 Best Country and Americana Songs of the Week” during June of 2018 prior to the sophomore album’s August release of that year.
