Saltwater was released in 1999 with Clannad's Mary Brennan reprising her vocals from the group's Theme From Harry's Game.
It hit Number 6 in the UK charts and topped every dance chart in the UK. Surpassing this was his collaboration with Bryan Adams on Don't Give Up which hit Number 1 on the UK charts and went silver. Chicane's second album Behind The Sun also went gold. After a brief hiatus, during which Bracegirdle was embroiled in legal action with label Xtravanganza, he returned in 2006 with Stoned In Love featuring Tom Jones on vocals.
