Charles was born in 1996 by the Sierra Nevada Mountains and grew up admiring nature and everything surrounding it. He started creating music in his early teenage years with his brother's older friends. Charles began releasing music in 2014 when he turned 18. Running Through The Forest was released in 2016, which was influenced by events in his life at the time. He released Roots and Step/Time that same year. Following the release of those two projects, he released two EP’s, The Reach and Escapism/ Work While You Talk in 2017. Wilderness and nature is a big part of his life. His creative process is simple. He uses a field recorder to capture sounds when venturing into nature to have a recording of a split section of his life.
