By the end of 1965, Chad & Jeremy had released a total of five Top 10 hits on America's Easy Listening chart, including their Number 1 cover of the jazz standard "Willow Weep." Subsequent albums like Of Cabbages and Kings (1967) and The Ark (1968) expanded the group's sound but alienated their pop fans, resulting in poor sales.
