They paid homage to their hometown with 2010’s Rohnert Park, featuring popular songs like “Into the Wayside Part I/Sick” and “The Doldrums (Friendly City)” filling out the lively album. In 2011, the group signed with Matador Records where they released two albums, including 2015’s The L-Shaped Man which boasted a post-punk influenced new wave sound that landed them at No. 20 on the Billboard Hard Rock chart. Their sixth album, In the Spirit World Now, was released in 2019 as they joined Relapse Records and songs like “Turn Away the Bad Thing” helped the record reach No. 5 on the Heatseekers chart.
