Come Home With Me (2002) was critically acclaimed and achieved Platinum status. The record contained singles “Hey Ma,” which peaked at number three, and “Oh Boy,” which peaked at number four on the Billboard Hot 100. Seven years later, his sixth studio album Crime Pays (2009), released after a hiatus from music, landed at number three. Since then, he’s continued to release a number of collaborations and records, including his seventh studio album Purple Haze 2 (2019). Described as harrowing, hysterical, unapologetic and “one of the greatest anti-heroes in hip-hop,” Cam’ron remains as relevant now as he was at the start.
