The Calidore String Quartet is based out of New York City and was formed in 2010. Bringing together four students at the Colburn Conservatory of Music in Los Angeles, this ensemble exhibited talent together from the beginning. A traditional string quartet, Calidore features Jeffrey Myers and Ryan Meehan as violinists, Jeremy Berry playing viola and Estelle Choi featured on cello. After winning the M-Prize International Chamber Music Competition in 2016, the Calidore String Quartet has been invited to play throughout North America, Europe and Asia, in venues such as Carnegie Hall, Cologne Philharmonie, the Kennedy Center and more.
