The band BXS, also known as Bryndis por Siempre is a romantic Latin group composed of vocalist Guadalupe Guevara and his brother Juan on drums along with the talented group Alfredo Guevara on guitars, bassist Mario Luis Jimenez and Francisco Guevara on percussion. Guadalupe and his brother Juan had previously been part of Grupo Bryndis, a cumbia romantic Latin group that released several hits in the 1990s and early 2000s.
In reference to their previous band, the brothers chose the name BXS as an acronym meaning “Bryndis forever.” The group’s sound features Guadelupe’s signature voice. As part of their live show, the band features timeless classics from Grupo Bryndis, including “Mi preciosa mujer,” “Otra ocupa mi lugar”, “Amor prohibido” and “Tu juro que te amo.”

The band’s highly anticipated 2011 debut album is called Por Siempra Romanticos, which contains ten tracks, containing covers along with some original pieces. The album spawned the singles “Temporal de Amor” and “Los dos fuimos culpables.” The band has performed in hugely successful tours throughout the United States as well as in Latin American countries such as Mexico, Argentina, Paraguay and Bolivia.
