Brooklyn Rider has performed at the American Academy in Rome, Sweden’s Malmo Festival and in 2010 became the first classical music artist invited to play at South by Southwest. The group are also enthusiastic educators and have enjoyed residencies at Dartmouth College, Texas A&M University and the MacPhail Center for the Arts, among others.
The quartet has released a handful of recordings, beginning with their 2008 release Passport. The album was named one of NPR’s best classical albums of the year. They have collaborated with a number of high-profile artists including Bjork, Elvis Costello and Rufus Wainwright.
