The group formed in 2015 and got their big break in 2017 when they recorded the song “Everytime.” Boy Pablo uploaded the music video to YouTube and it quickly received millions of views. Soon after, they released the EP Roy Pablo which included their internet hit “Everytime” and five other singles. The group played their first shows outside of Norway in 2018, showcasing the music from their second EP, Soy Pablo. In 2018, Boy Pablo won the P3 Gull Award for Newcomer of the Year, and in 2019 they won the Spellemann Award for Newcomer of the Year in addition to a Norwegian Grammy.
Throughout the band's career, Nicolas Munoz has recorded and produced his own music, including the debut studio album, Wachito Rico, released in 2020 with 777 Records.
