Rising from Brighton's vibrant music scene, they established a distinctive musical style built around spiky, alternative, indie thrashes, fuelled by sugar pop vocals and songs of adolescent frustrations.
After years touring small venues and releasing singles through independent labels, they signed with Mercury for their well-received debut album Box Of Secrets (2008). Full of dynamic riffs and angsty vitriol, their bouncy energy developed into a heavier, beefier sound on second album Fire Like This (2010) as the band went on to support Rage Against The Machine, Panic At The Disco and Siouxsie & the Banshees.
