Their name was inspired by satirizing the notion to “fit in” to a certain sub-genre of EDM along with the gimmicks which is shown through inventive and uncompromising take on house music.
Black V Neck released their first single in 2017, “Listen to my Flute.” After that, they released some of their biggest songs such as “Sex, Drugs, Alcohol,” “Please Don’t Suck” and “To the Floor” to name just three. The pair did not release their first EP until 2020, entitled Ronca which included five all-new songs. They have collaborated with Afrojack, Sven Fields and Millean. They have appeared on the EDC Las Vegas 2022 album, Dirtybird Campout: 2019 West Coast Compilation and Just a Ghost.
