Mark Engles of Dredg covers lead guitar duties, while Chris Robyn of Far handles the drums. The trio surprised the rock world when they released their EP Driver in February of 2014. The band followed up in October with their debut full-length album ...And We Explode. The album was well-received as it allowed the artists to each exhibit how much they’d grown in a fresh way. Black Map captures a heavy 90s tone with a loud and moody atmosphere.

Their first album’s success helped them attract a deal with eOne Entertainment setting the stage for their sophomore project. After going on tour in support of Chevelle in 2016, Black Map followed their tour with the release of In Droves in March of 2017.
