Get ready for a high-energy show with Be'la Dona tickets. The group Be'la Dona was founded in 2007. The group fuses funk, R&B, jazz and rock into their own unique sound. The group has performed with artists such as Avery Sunshine, Vivian Green, Algebra Blesset and others. They were chosen as the official band tour in 2011 for Beverly Bond’s “Black Girls Rock Tour”. The ensemble also became the house band for the 2014 edition Tom Joyner Fantastic Voyage Cruise.

The band’s four vocalists include Chella Davis, Kim Scott, Sweet Cherie, who is the music director and also plays keyboard along with the MC and vocalist Karis Hill.  The stellar singing of these women is backed up by Taylor Gamble and Claudia “Kool Keys” Rodgers, who also plays keyboard. The rhythm section includes bassist Tempest “Storm” Thomas, Shannon Browne on drums and percussionist Natarsha Proctor.

In 2010, the group was awarded “Best Urban Contemporary Group” by the Washington Area Music Association, or WAMA. Individually, Sweet Cherie herself was awarded “Instrumentalist of the Year” six years in a row by the WAMA. The group’s members themselves have performed with acts from Pieces of a Dream, Chaka Khan, High Five and Michael Bolton.
