He was named the “10th Greatest Guitarist” by Guitar World in 2012 and sold more than 15 million records throughout his career. While Carey has played with Tool since its formation, the drummer has also made contributions to works by Skinny Puppy, Carole King, Luck and others. In 2016, he was ranked among Rolling Stone’s list of “100 Greatest Drummers of All Time.”
