The promotion is based in Philadelphia. Former professional boxer David Feldman is the president of BKFC, which held the first legal bare-knuckle event since 1889. All fights and events are run under the supervision and sanctioning of an athletic commission. The area to fight in is a specially designed “Squared Circle” complete with scratch lines. The two contestants must “Toe the Line,” which requires them to start the round literally face to face and inches apart.
