The band’s members met at the university and served as the group’s home base in their early years. In 2008, the Canadian rock group released their debut album entitled, Jackson Square. The album launched Arkells career and won the band a Juno Award for New Group of the Year. Arkells have continued to gain success with the release of albums Michigan Left, High Noon, Morning Report and Rally Cry.
