Assistance from Grammy award-winning producer Michael Broening helped her flute single to become the first flute single to ever rank number one on Billboard’s Smooth Jazz chart. Along with writing books like Becoming Chocolate Barbie on professional woman’s empowerment Rene has continued to release stellar music like 2018’s Flawsome.
