In 2005, Alessio Bax performed the Fugue of Beethoven’s “Hammerklavier” Sonata in the popular documentary Barenboim on Beethoven. 

Bax’s swift rise to fame helped him secure the Avery Fisher Career Grant in 2009 and he studied at the Southern Methodist University in Texas. During this time, Bax gave several recitals at major venues worldwide, including in the United States, Rome, Hong Kong, Mexico City and London. As a result, Alessio Bax tickets rose in demand. He was featured as a soloist with multiple orchestras, including the Boston Symphony Orchestra, the London Philharmonic Orchestra and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. Segal Award from the Lincoln Center.
