Band members have included vocalist Sr. Kalaca, vocalist Getse, drummer Adam, bass guitarist Sick, and lead guitarist Steve E. They also have had their signature horn section of Choriz on trumpet and Gio on trombone. 8 Kalacas has recorded and released multiple EPs, singles and LPs. Their debut full-length album was titled 8Kalacas was released in 2011 and contained 15 tracks including “Pan de Muerto,” “Primero de Mayo,” “Vida Jimenez” and “Chorizo Federal.” In 2022, the group released the LP Fronteras with its 12 tracks including “Labios Negro,” ”Luz Y Fer,” “Mutante” and “Frontera.”
8 Kalacas can be seen touring all over the United States at venues such as the House of Rock in Corpus Christi, Tex., the Regent Theater in Los Angeles, Calif,, The Rebel Lounge in Phoenix, Ariz,, and Marty’s On Newport in Tustin, Calif. 8 Kalacas has also performed on multiple tours in Mexico including at Ixtapaluskac, in Arbolada Ixtapaluca, Mexico.
