The band first gained attention with their 1995 debut album, Parachute, which was well-received in the college music scene. However, it was their second album, Goldfly (1997), that started to bring Guster broader recognition, thanks to songs like "Airport Song." Their third album, Lost and Gone Forever (1999), solidified their place in the indie rock world, featuring the hit single "Fa Fa" and fan-favorite "Barrel of a Gun."

Guster continued to evolve their sound with albums like Keep It Together (2003), which featured the popular tracks "Amsterdam" and "Careful," and Ganging Up on the Sun (2006), which included the hit song "Satellite." Their 2010 album Easy Wonderful further showcased their knack for crafting catchy melodies with tracks like "Do You Love Me."

More recent albums, like Evermotion (2015) and Look Alive (2019), have seen the band exploring new sonic landscapes while maintaining the heartfelt lyrics and tight harmonies that have become their trademark.
