Growing up, Eric Darius joined America’s Youngest Jazz Band, touring the country at the young age of 11.

When Darius reached his teenage years, he was performing over 100 shows per year with his own band. After many years, he released his debut album, Cruisin’, in 2000. Although the album gained a widespread fanbase, he had his breakthrough after the release of his sophomore album, Night on the Town in 2004. The album ended up peaking as No. 32 on the Billboard 200. Perhaps his most successful album was the 2010 On a Mission, which peaked as No. 10 on the Billboard 200. Some of Darius’ top songs include “If I Ain’t Got You”, “Dare 2 Dream”, and “Goin’ All Out.” The former of the three ended up peaking as No. 12 on the Smooth Jazz Airplay chart. The latter was his most popular song, as it landed a No. 1 spot on the same song chart of that year.
