Coming together as childhood friends, the original members of Joywave came together to release their first EP “Koda Vista” in 2012, which would shortly see them rising to the top. The group found their success in “Dangerous”, a 2014 release that led to them being asked to record a variety of tracks for EA video games including FIFA 15.
The duo known as Daniels directed several music videos for the group’s earliest tracks. Additionally, they’re known for working with other Cultco and Hollywood label bands during their tours, opening for the group. The group is also known for their television debut on Late Night with Seth Meyers and shortly after, Jimmy Kimmel Live. The group’s most popular performances aside from their tours are their openings for The Killers, and performances at Lollapalooza.
