In 2009 he wrote songs for Team StarKid's stage parody 'A Very Potter Musical, Me and My Dick' at the University of Michigan which was posted on YouTube. The cast album reached number eleven on Billboard's Top Cast Albums Chart in 2010 and in the same year he released EP 'Human' which went to number 17 on Billboard's Heatseekers Albums Chart. Follow-up EP 'Lost Boys Life' came out in 2017 and in 2018 the EP 'Homework' topped the Heatseekers Chart and reached number seven on the Independent Albums Chart.
