By the age of three, he was interested in rap and by six was rapping as an amateur artist. The 1993 Chronic Tour stop at the Battelle Grand inside the Greater Columbus Convention Center, featured Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg. A young Shad Moss got on stage and started rapping. In 2000, he released his first studio album, Beware of Dog. By 2001, it had been certified double platinum, with over two million records sold, by the Recording Industry Association of America. He has released seven studio albums with his last one New Jack City II being released in 2009. Bow Wow is currently under contract with Bad Boy Records. Shad Moss announced the end of his rap career in 2017. He made his acting career debut in the movie Like Mike and has since made appearances in the Fast and the Furious franchise and Lottery Ticket with Ice Cube. He starred as Brody Nelson in CSI: Cyber through 2016. His most recent TV appearance was in The Masked Singer when he earned third place as the Frog.
