Originally known as the DuPage Pistol Shrimp, this team plays out of the Veterans Memorial Park in Peru, Ill. Their team colors are white, orange and black and they are managed by June Keeley and John Jakiemiec. One of the newer teams in the Prospect League, the Pistol Shrimp was founded in 2019. 

The Pistol Shrimp was initially founded as an expansion team in Lisle, Ill., following the departure of the DuPage Drones. They enjoyed quick success, making an appearance at the division championship game before relocating to Peru.
