The “Midsummer Classic” and its full slate of events are scheduled to start on July 15. Capital One All-Star Oceanfront
Start your trip with a stop at Santa Monica Pier and Beach where you will find All-Star sand sculptures and a diamond in the sand. This free event is open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Capital One Play Ball Park
Before the baseball events begin, plan a visit to the fun-filled Play Ball Park. Organized around the Los Angeles Convention Center, this All-Star Fan Experience gives visitors the opportunity to meet Hall of Famers and learn from former professional players on fields surrounding the venue. This event starts at 10 a.m., on Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.
All-Star Saturday
The SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game kicks off an action-packed lineup of events bringing the best Minor League players into the spotlight. This is perfect for the avid fan who wants to scout the latest draft picks. The game starts at 4 p.m.
Next up is the MGM Rewards All-Star Celebrity Softball Game where you can get a little taste of Hollywood as your favorite actors, comedians and musicians test their meddle alongside sports stars. A few of the celebrities slated for this year’s game include JoJo Siwa, Rob Lowe, Simu Liu and Chloe Kim. The first pitch is scheduled for 7:15 p.m.
After the final out, you can catch Becky G at the MGM Rewards All-Star Saturday Extra Innings Concert. The multi-platinum award winner will perform her biggest hits like “MAMIII” in Dodger Stadium.
2022 MLB Draft Day 1
For the second year in a row, the MLB Draft will be one of the featured All-Star Week events. Stop by Xbox Plaza at 4 p.m. to see if your favorite college stars have their names called.
T-Mobile Home Run Derby
This fan-favorite is scheduled for Monday night at 5 p.m., at the end of the Gatorade All-Star Workout Day. Depending on how the final All-Star rosters are set, you could see sluggers like Byron Buxton, Giancarlo Stanton or Yordan Alvarez step up to the plate. The reigning champion is Pete Alonso.
92nd MLB All-Star Game presented by Mastercard
All-Star Week culminates on Tuesday afternoon with the 92nd MLB All-Star Game presented by Mastercard. The game starts at 4:30 p.m. and showcases talent from across the league as voted by fans and players. The game no longer determines home-field advantage in the World Series, but there is still a lot of cash at stake.
