Alfredo’s Achievements on the Track
Anthony Alfredo started his professional career in the CARS Late Model Tour where he had 11 top-10 finishes in 13 races and two wins for JR Motorsports. He moved to MDM Motorsports in 2018 where he competed in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East and ARCA Racing Series. He had 10 more top-10 finishes with that team and picked up his third career win at the South Boston Speedway.
In 2020, Alfredo made his NASCAR Xfinity Series debut with Richard Childress Racing. He competed in 19 races that year and finished in the top 10 nine times. He moved up to the NASCAR Cup Series in 2021, racing full-time for Front Row Motorsports and finished as the runner-up for the Sunoco Rookie of the Year, and returned to the Xfinity Series with Our Motorsports in 2022. He had a career-best 15th-place points finish in 2022 with 633 points, which included four top-10 finishes, one top-five and one start from pole position.
To start the 2023 season, Alfredo recorded five top-20 finishes in his first six Xfinity Series races. That included back-to-back 14th-place finishes at Phoenix Raceway and Atlanta Motor Speedway. Alfredo has also made two starts in the NASCAR Cup Series for Live Fast Motorsports.
Life Outside the No. 78 Car
Off the track, Alfredo has endeared himself to fans through his clever use of racing technology. That includes iRacing, which is an online motorsport racing simulation portal that allows fans and many professional drivers the opportunity to compete virtually on their favorite tracks from more than 80 official racing series. Alfredo streams his sim races on platforms like YouTube and Twitch while talking viewers through his setup and strategy.
