The 2024 NFL schedule will begin in September with the defending champion Kansas City Chiefs looking for a third consecutive title. The complete NFL schedule will be released in May.

When will the 2024 NFL Schedule be Released?

Though we do not know the specific day that the 2024 NFL schedule will be released, the league has announced that it will be during the month of May. The 2023 schedule was released on May 11 with a few games teased beforehand like the Black Friday and Christmas Day lineups.

Super Bowl LIX

Super Bowl LIX is scheduled for Feb. 9, 2025, at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, La. The game was initially awarded to New Orleans in 2018, but after the NFL expanded the regular-season schedule to include 18 games in 2021, a scheduling conflict arose with the city’s iconic Mardi Gras celebrations. Super Bowl LVIII was reassigned to Las Vegas.

So far, we know that there will be three U.K. games and one in Germany. The Chicago Bears, Minnesota Vikings and Jacksonville Jaguars will each play in one of the U.K. games, but their opponents have not been revealed. The Germany game will take place at Allianz Arena in Munich. Neither team has been announced for that matchup.

Holiday Games

The NFL is known for its holiday schedules which feature high-profile matchups on Thanksgiving Day, Black Friday and Christmas Day. Those games will be announced soon, but you can count on the Cowboys hosting their annual Thanksgiving game.
