After college, he joined a touring company for Cats until landing a gig playing piano for Evita on Broadway. He was made the Music Director and Conductor for the revival of Evita. After completing a 30-city tour in 2014, Waldrop conducted the Kennedy Center Opera House Orchestra in Washington, D.C.
William Waldrop has also conducted other great symphonies such as Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra, Portland Symphony Orchestra, Louisiana Philharmonic, and the Long Beach Symphony.
