Tsuruda spent years in a Catholic school where he studied music theory every day, performed three times a week and traveled to Italy and England to play music. This rigorous classical training gave him a rock-solid foundation that would serve him well later on. At age fifteen, Tsuruda fell in love with production, inspired by Madlib and Flying Lotus.
Eventually, he moved to Los Angeles, connected with people on the hip-hop scene and went to work on his music. In 2018, he released his second album Unlimited Data, which consisted of a whopping twenty-three tracks. From successful DJ gigs to live performances, Tsuruda hits home with his own unique sound that sets him apart, while still bringing it LA style. His album FUBAR (F*cked Up Beyond All Recognition) expanded his sound further by taking it into the bass genre. Inspired by the music scene in Los Angeles, Tsuruda shows no signs of stopping or even slowing down. He put together a XLR8R podcast called Blunts for Breakfast Vol. 1 that is full of driving bass.
