They all play a plethora of exotic instruments including Kora, Kamale Ngoni, Djembe, Congas, Dundun, Sangban and Kinkini to name a few. Their tone replicates Ali Farka Toure, Orchestra Baobab and Salif Keita. To master their craft, they studied and lived in Guinea, Ivory Coast and Mali.

Formed in 2005 reigning from Asheville, North Carolina, Toubab Krewe has put together a musical experience that doesn’t fit into any box or lyrical category and is truly their own unique melody. Their first studio album “Toubab Krewe” debuted in 2005 and they have been touring ever since. Toubab Krewe followed up with “Live at the Orange Peel” in 2008, “TK2” in 2010 and “STYLO” in 2018.
