Ellis left in 2000 to be replaced by Baz Warne and Roberts quit in 2006, though they continued as a four-piece playing to a devoted fanbase for the rest of the decade. Keyboardist Dave Greenfield, who joined the band a year after their formation and went on to play with them for more than four decades, sadly lost his life to coronavirus on May 3rd, 2020 at the age of 71, prompting an outpouring of tributes from across the music industry.
