The Association Concert Tickets

Discover an unforgettable evening of timeless compositions with The Association tickets. The Association had some of the breeziest hits of the 1960s and '70s with the California-based style known as sunshine pop and, while they have had many line-up changes over the decades, original members Jules Alexander and Jim Yester continue to perform regularly. Another current player is Del Ramos, brother of Larry Ramos who had two stints with the band until he retired; he passed away in 2014.

The trio set dates to perform as The Association across America in 2018 on the Happy Together tour with other surviving sunshine pop acts The Turtles, Chuck Negron formerly of Three Dog Night, Gary Puckett & The Union Gap and Mark Lindsay, former lead singer of Paul Revere & The Raiders. Tennessee-born Alexander and Terry Kirkman from Kansas played together in The Men in Los Angeles in the early 1960s and then created The Association with other musicians Yester, Brian Cole, Russ Giguere, and Ted Bleuchel.

Their first big hit single was 'Along Comes Mary' in 1966. It went to number seven on the Billboard Hot 100 in August that year followed quickly by 'Cherish' which topped the chart in September and earned three Grammy Award nominations. 'Windy' topped the chart in 1967 and also won a Grammy nomination, 'Never My Love', with another Grammy nod, peaked at number two in the same year and 'Everything That Touches You' reached number ten in 1968.

The album 'And Then. Along Comes The Association' reached number five on the Billboard 200 in 1966, Grammy-nominated 'Insight Out' hit number eight in 1967 and 'Greatest Hits' peaked at number four in 1969. They have had two further studio albums since then - 'Stop Your Motor' and 'Waterbeds in Trinidad!', but their main focus has been on live performances with regular tours around the world. Whether it’s a grand symphony in a prestigious concert hall or a chamber music performance, there’s something all fans of classical music will enjoy.
