In addition, the hit track, "Dark Star," peaked at No. 2 in Belgium charts. Polica appeared on Later...with Jools Holland and launched its first UK/European tour following its international success.
Polica continued its international success in 2013 with Shulamith. Not only did the album chart in Belgium and the UK, but it gained massive support and charting positions in Ireland, Switzerland, and France. In addition, the hit track, "Chain My Name," was immensely popular in Belgium and rose to the No. 60 spot.
In 2014, the group released its first EP, Raw Exit, which included four songs that didn't make it to the Shulamith album, including Polica's version of the hit single, "You Don't Own Me."
Polica took a new direction in 2018 and teamed up with esteemed Berlin-based orchestra, s t a r g a z e, to develop the band's fourth studio album, Music for the Long Emergency. The band's fifth studio album, When We Stay Alive, was released in 2020.
