The members are Brandon Elgar, Matthew Marshall, Xavier Adames and Aaron Rosa.
Palisades was founded in 2008 in Iselin, and in its early years playing under the name Marilyn Is Dead. They released their debut album Appearance Disappear the following year, then after a series of lineup changes took the name Palisades. Their 2011 EP The Rise earned them a deal with Rise Records, through which they released their album Outcasts in 2013.
Outcasts attracted significant attention, reaching within the Billboard 200 and seeing the band tour alongside acts like Famous Last Words, Heartist and Capture the Crown. Palisades are longtime collaborators with the band Letters from the Fire, and despite a slew of lineup changes continue to tour to a devoted following. They have made celebrated appearances on the Warped Tour, Ride or Die Tour and at the Jamboree 3 Festival.
