Orchestra Noir was founded by Music Director Jason Ikeem Rodgers in 2016. Rodgers began conducting professionally when invited to be the apprentice of John Mauceri with the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra for the 2006-07 season. Rodgers has gone on to work with some of the premier orchestras in the country. Among other awards, Rodgers was awarded the winner of the International Conducting Competition.
