Watch top-level women’s soccer with your NC Courage tickets from TicketSmarter. The National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) is the highest level of professional women’s soccer in the United States. Past iterations of the league include the Women’s United Soccer Association and Women’s Professional Soccer. It has been known as the NWSL since 2013. The league began in 2013 with eight teams, and there are plans to invite additional teams as the league progresses.

There will be around 108 opportunities to purchase NC Courage tickets throughout the regular season. The NWSL Shield is awarded to the team that finishes with the best regular-season record. The North Carolina Courage won three straight NWSL Shields from 2017 through 2019.

Teams will compete throughout the regular season for a chance to participate in the NWSL Playoffs. The top four teams are invited to participate in the postseason tournament. A single-elimination semi-final round begins the playoffs. The winners advance to the single-elimination championship game. The Portland Thorns FC took home the inaugural NWSL Championship. The North Carolina Courage took care of business on the road to defeat the defending champion Portland Thorns FC in Providence Park in 2018. The Courage followed their first NWSL Championship with another in 2019.

NWSL ticket prices depend on the seating location and the success of the team. Expect NC Courage tickets to increase in price following a championship or playoff berth. NWSL Playoff tickets will also be more expensive than regular season tickets.

NC Courage Schedule

Twenty-five to 30 games will make up the NWSL regular season. The season begins in March and ends in September. Games are played on Saturdays and Wednesdays during the regular season. The NWSL Playoffs will begin on the Saturday following the conclusion of the regular season. The championship game takes place one week later.
