Born in 1987 in Croix, Haut-de-France, Lepoutre developed an interest in electronic dance music as a teenager. In his early 20s, he studied sound engineering at Paris’ prestigious art school Le Femis. During his time at the school, Lepoutre met the future members of Club Cheval, with whom he formed the group in 2010.
Club Cheval quickly enjoyed popularity in electronic dance music circles. As their reputation grew, Lepoutre began producing and composing for high-profile artists such as Brodinski, Kore and Two Door Cinema Club. Following the release of Club Cheval’s debut album Discipline in 2016, he left to pursue a solo career in earnest.
In 2017, Lepoutre composed the score for the film Bloody Milk, for which he earned a Cesar Award nomination for Best Original Music.
