Mud morganfield Concert Tickets
Settle into the smooth sounds and groovy beats with Mud morganfield tickets. The eldest son of legendary bluesman Muddy Waters, Larry "Mud" Morganfield has become an acclaimed star in his own right, touring the world and earning praise from critics for his authentic, soulful sound. Born and raised in Chicago, his parents divorced when he was eight and Morganfield grew up on Motown and funk sounds before becoming a long-haul truck driver. After his father's death in 1983 the 29-year-old Morganfield felt a duty to uphold the legacy of Muddy Waters and started performing blues in earnest himself.
Inheriting a deep, smooth voice, he self-released his debut Fall Waters Fall in 2008, but it was follow-up Son Of A Seventh Son (2012) on Severn Records that took him from Chicago's club circuit and brought him to wider attention in Europe and across the world. Not merely a tribute act to his father, Morganfield's music was inspired in part by his own troubles, worries and pains as he developed a stylish, vintage style based on R&B, 1960s soul and funky showmanship with a natural honesty that would have made his father very proud.
