The album made artists around the psych-pop scene start to take notice as Mr. Elevator began collaborating with bands like The Black Lips and The Fresh & Onlys.

While their first album reminded listeners of groups like the Doors and Pink Floyd, Mr. Elevator took a lighter approach with their sophomore release 2017 release, When The Morning Greets You. Upbeat songs like “Sunshine Dream” and “Cosmic Bloom” give the album a sound reminiscent of the Beatles. Mr. Elevator switched it up once again with their 2020 release, Goodbye, Blue Sky. Reaching towards the darker aspects of synth, this album pulls listeners in just as Mr. Elevator raises audiences to their feet.
