Mozart & Bruckner Concert Tickets
Enjoy a night of joyous music with Mozart & Bruckner tickets. Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was one of the most prolific and influential classical composers of all time. He only lived until he was 35 years old but composed more than 600 pieces of music in his short life.
Mozart’s Concerto No. 17 in G was written in 1784 and orchestrated for a piano soloist accompanied by two oboes, two bassoons, two horns and strings. The finale of the piece is believed to be a variation of a song sung by Mozart’s pet starling. The piece is thought to have been premiered by his student Barbara Ployer in the spring of 1784.
Josef Anton Bruckner was a German composer and organist who lived during the Romantic period of classical music in the 19th Century. Bruckner’s most known works include his masses, motets and symphonies. One of Bruckner’s idiosyncrasies was his habit of frequently reworking compositions later. He was greatly admired by later composers, including Gustav Mahler.

Bruckner’s Fourth Symphony was written originally, but as is true with many of his compositions, he reworked it extensively.
