The original lineup consisted of Andrew Pierson, Robert Salandra and William Corona, and they started out as a cover band named Seabass and the Fellas. Eventually, while playing in the New York City metro area, they brought in vocalist Emma Salandra.
Inspired by music from the Dave Matthews Band, Phish and Fleetwood Mac, Mountain Laurel created their own style that combines multiple genres. In 2020, they released their debut single “The Weather” and received glowing praise from their fans. Their concerts are an entertaining mix of covers and original material that keeps the audience dancing all night long.
